Glenfinnon

Glenfinnan is famous as the place where Bonnie Prince Charlie met with Clan Chief Lochiel. The Jacobite Standard was raised and the second Jacobite rebellion had begun.

On the loch shore an impressive monument was later built to commemorate the famous event and today this imposing structure provides an interesting visit and viewpoint from its turreted top.
