He is a highly accomplished photographer, and i take my inspiration from him as I develope through trial and error to aspire to a similar level.I am very much self-taught in photography, developing and improving my techniques over these past few years by continuess practice, reading and being out in the field with fellow photographers. George Dalziel Photography t I am possibly my own worst critic, I will always study at length each image I shoot, ( with a beer of-coarse ), never truely satisfied , simply because I want to improve on it. By doing this I have developed a better understanding of composition and pre-visualising the impact I hope to achieve by being more aware of the conditions around me the next time i'm out on location.I use a Nikon D700 full frame format camera and I'm only now beginning to appreciate what my camera's settings offer. Apart from my ever growing passion for photography I enjoy being outdoors and travelling to various locations throughout both Scotland and the North of England.Having always been an early riser, my favourite time to photograph is at dawn. I live for the " Magic Hour " and the quality of light it brings, the peace & quiet also enhances those tranquil moments to savour. Photography to me is a hobby and whilst I do from time to time sell a few prints, much of my journey is self-financing.I know only to well the costs of replacing or upgrading equipment and all the travel expenses to boot. It is a passion, possibly an obsession therefore, I see my future as spend, spend, spend. This gallery is a reflection of my favourite photographs and some video of my travels. I have built this website in the hope that I capture your attention with visual impact together with entertainment value.I sincerely hope you have experienced this on your visit today. Many thanks for making this visit.
